Requirements & Responsibility:

• Experience in sewing, with knowledge of basic and intermediate sewing skills. 

• Ability to teach beginners and intermediate-level learners. 

• Available for at least one morning session per week (flexible hours between 9:30 am - 12:00 pm)

•  Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them grow. 

• Commitment: volunteer for a minimum of three months.

• Experience in baking, specifically in making birthday cakes, including decoration and presentation. 

• Availability for sessions within our opening hours (9:30 am - 5:30 pm) according to your schedule. 

• Support the mission of Greater Action by empowering refugee women through skill-building.

Requirements & Responsibility:

• Experience in making jams, including knowledge of various techniques and recipes. 

• Ability to teach beginners with little to no experience in jam-making. 

• Availability for training sessions within our opening hours (9:30 am - 5:30 pm), according to your schedule. 

• Commitment: volunteer for at least three months. 

Requirements & Responsibility:

• Ability to teach beginners with creative and hands-on approaches. 

• Availability for morning sessions (flexible hours between 9:30 am - 12:00 pm) on any weekday. 

• Teach Afghan refugee women how to make upcycled crafts, turning everyday items into valuable products. 

• Work closely with the Greater Action team to ensure training aligns with the program’s goals. 

• Develop lesson plans and activities that inspire creativity and teach sustainable crafting techniques. 

• Commitment: to volunteer for a minimum of three months. 

Requirements & Responsibility:

• Experience in fashion design, including sketching, pattern making, and garment construction. 

• Ability to teach beginners and intermediate students with hands-on approaches. 

• Availability for morning sessions (flexible hours between 9:30 am - 12:00 pm) on any weekday. 

• Passion for fashion design and a desire to empower Afghan refugee women through skill-sharing. 

• Commitment: to volunteer for at least three months.

• Experience in sales, public relations, or a related field with proven networking skills. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an engaging and enthusiastic personality.

• Support Greater Action’s mission by helping to grow its customer base and increase its reach. 

• Passionate about empowering Afghan refugee women and supporting Greater Action's mission. 

• Commitment:  to volunteer for a minimum of six months. 

Requirements & Responsibility:

• Solid experience in managing LinkedIn, including content creation, networking, and engagement strategies. 

• Leverage your corporate network to open doors for CSR partnerships and new opportunities. 

• Strong communication and outreach skills with the ability to connect with potential partners. 

• Availability to work remotely with flexible hours. 

• Reach out to companies and potential partners to promote CSR programs and build meaningful connections. 

• Commitment:  to volunteer for a minimum of six months. 

Requirements & Responsibility:

• Experience in art curating, including exhibition planning, organizing, and presentation. 

• Excellent writing skills for curatorial texts, artist statements, and exhibition descriptions. 

• Availability to work remotely with flexibility, from October until the end of February. 

• Provide input on the exhibition design and help ensure a smooth setup for the art show scheduled for February 21-28. 

• Collaborate on promotional efforts, including writing content for social media and event descriptions. 

• Manage communication with artists and other stakeholders, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met. 

Requirements & Responsibility:

• Experience in photography, with skills in capturing high-quality images of events, products, and shows. 

• Ability to work flexibly without fixed timing, attending scheduled events and sessions as needed. 

• Capture high-quality photographs of boutique items, events, and art shows to enhance Greater Action’s promotional materials. 

• Organize and maintain a photo library for easy access to images for future use. 

• Edit and prepare images for use in marketing materials, social media, and event promotions. 

• Commitment: to volunteer for a minimum of six months. 

Requirements & Responsibility:

• Ability to creatively design and decorate spaces, including boutiques and event booths. 

• Experience in retail, visual merchandising, or a related field with a strong sense of aesthetics. 

• Engaged, enthusiastic, and passionate about enhancing the visual appeal of displays. 

• Flexible working hours with the ability to manage your own time effectively. 

• Work with the marketing team to ensure visual branding is consistent across all areas. 

• Commitment: volunteer for at least three months. 

Requirements & Responsibility:

• Experience in sustainability, green practices, or environmental management, particularly in food-related projects. 

• Knowledge of composting, waste reduction, and implementing zero-waste practices. 

• Ability to teach and guide others, particularly in a multicultural setting with Afghan team members. 

• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. 

• Train and guide the Afghan team in composting, waste management, and other green practices. 

• Commitment: volunteer for a minimum of three months.
