Vocational Training
Due to the lack of legal recognition, opportunities for education beyond secondary school are extremely limited for refugees. Only 2% of them access higher education. Market oriented, technical and vocational training programs would prepare them for a more sustainable future.
Young adults refugees need professional development, up-skilling and re-skilling to get access to decent earning jobs. We enroll committed & sincere refugees into vocational training courses such as barber and teacher training to increase their job opportunities.
Greater Action is always eager to work with engaged and qualified part time trainers to impart technical and professional skills in various fields that offer home-based jobs perspectives.
We are open to other ideas and training that might help them learn skills and gain back their dignity. You can also help these refugees by sponsoring them to get enrolled for the training courses and empower them with vocational skills in order for them to thrive and become self-sufficient.
